RIU Palace Aruba
To maximize the destination wedding experience the grooms prefer for all guests to stay at the host resort, RIU Palace Aruba.
If guests wish to stay at a non-RIU resort, groom approval is required. The resort allows only a limited number of off-property guests to attend the wedding. In addition, the resort will charge off-property guests $130 per person each day for resort access.
The RIU does have an adults only sister property directly next door called RIU Palace Antilles. Guests at the RIU Palace Antilles have access to RIU Palace Aruba except for dining, but the privleges are not reciprocal.
Fun Fact: The RIU Palace Antilles was home to the couple's first vacation.
